For a steel structure project, the real test is not only the installation day. Long-term performance after years of use is what truly shows the quality of the materials and workmanship.
Our team recently had the chance to visit a customer's slaughterhouse project in the Philippines. It had been almost five years since the project was completed, and we were happy to see that the hot-dip galvanized steel parts were still in great shape. The galvanized coating looked just as good as it did when it was first applied, and it was clear that it had done a good job of protecting the steel. The fact that the coating still looked bright and shiny after all that time was a testament to its quality and durability.
This visit was not only a project review, but also a valuable opportunity to exchange experience with customers and discuss future cooperation.
The parts for the steel frame of the slaughterhouse arrived in the Philippines back in 2021.
The materials ended up sitting at the original site for around two years because the customer had a lengthy local approval process. After that, they were finally moved to a new location where they could be installed. This delay was pretty significant, but eventually, everything was transferred and ready to go.
After transportation, storage, and waiting for installation, many customers may wonder:
The answer from this project is clear.

After five years, the hot-dip galvanized layer remained complete, with no obvious damage or corrosion. The steel components were still bright and in good condition, showing the durability of high-quality galvanized steel structures.
For industrial buildings in tropical environments like the Philippines, corrosion resistance is especially important. Choosing suitable materials and proper surface treatment can significantly extend the service life of a building.
A new customer from Manila joined in on the project tour during this visit.
They are planning to build their own slaughterhouse and were interested in learning more about steel structure quality, manufacturing processes, installation methods, and project management.
By visiting an existing project, they were able to see the actual application of the building structure and communicate directly with the current customer about their experience.
These real project discussions helped the new customer better understand the advantages of a well-planned industrial building solution before starting their own project.
After visiting the slaughterhouse project, our team also visited another project completed in 2023 — a steel structure villa supplied by HENGON.

The villa project was nearing its finish, with everything falling into place and the construction work moving along nicely, it was almost ready to be completed.
When we visited the site, we noticed that the elevator that came with the project wasn't working. So, we got in touch with our engineers in China to figure out what was going on. They helped us discover that some parts of the elevator had been damaged because water got in while it was being stored.
Once we confirmed the issue, our team quickly got to work to find a solution. We arranged for the necessary replacement parts to be sent to the customer right away, using air transport to get them there as fast as possible. This way, the customer could get back up and running quickly, and we could help them resolve the problem without too much delay.
This experience demonstrates our dedication to our customers. We don't just stop supporting our projects after they're delivered - we're always here to help with any technical issues that might come up, whenever our customers need us.
From steel structure workshops and slaughterhouse buildings to customized construction projects, every project represents a long-term relationship with our customers.
